An aerial paradise suspended between golden meadows and rock faces reflecting the light. Nature and human presence slowly meld in a perfect balance, marking the Dolomites as a UNESCO site.

On the Seiser Alm plateau visitors can walk or cycle among open hills and endless meadows. Mountain huts gently punctuate the trail without interrupting it. In the distance, the Dolomites, from the Sassolungo to the Sciliar, silently outline the background. During the day, the light changes the landscape - spring on the meadows, summer in the wind, autumn in the colours, winter in the snow. Higher up, isolated chapels, ancient stones and scenic trails dot the silence. The church of San Francesco in Compatsch marks a clear break, followed once again by wide spaces and clearings. In the winter the Seiser Alm is part of the Dolomiti Superski area but the pace remains the same, only slower.
